Jordan and Jacqueline (Keesee) Sikes are co-recipients of the Young Alumni of the Year award. Jordan is a Podiatric Surgeon and Partner at the Foot and Ankle Center of Nebraska and U.S. Foot and Ankle Specialists. After completing his degree at York, he went on to earn his DPM at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his foot and ankle surgical residency at University Health in Kansas City.  Jacqueline is a homemaker and collaborative teacher for their kids at Trinity Classical Academy. They have four daughters: Chloe (16), Kaleah (14), Selah (12), and Nessa (7).

Jordan and Jacqueline shared, “York College was a pivotal place of growth for both of us in our relationship with God and each other.  We gained eternal friendships and lasting memories. One of the biggest ministries in our lives has been as parents.  We started with three biological daughters, and then we became foster parents.  Nessa, who was our first foster placement, we adopted in 2018.  Foster care has been a great way for our family to minister together.  We've gained perspective and awareness of the hurt and brokenness in our world.”

The honorees will be recognized during York University’s Homecoming Alumni Chapel, Saturday, October 18, 9:00 a.m., at the East Hill Church of Christ.
