Visit Campus

Why Should I Visit?

Before deciding on a college, you want to make sure it's a good fit. Visiting campus is the best way to find that out. We can tell you how beautiful the brick buildings are or describe the family environment of our college, but that's nothing compared to experiencing it for yourself. Just one word of caution, if you do come for a visit -- there's a good chance you'll like it here!
Schedule my Campus Visit

When Can I Visit?

We have visit opportunities all year round. We usually open campus visit dates 90 days in advance, but if you want to schedule a campus visit that is just beyond 60 days in the future, contact your recruiter and we'll help you set it up.

Some days work better for campus visits than others. We highly recommend visiting when school in session. There is much more to do and see when students are here. But if summer is the only time that works in your schedule, we'll still have lots of campus visit slots open.  We also suggest avoiding visits during certain school holidays as faculty/staff availability can be limited. These dates for 2019-2020 include:
  • Spring Break (March 9 - 13)
  • Memorial Day (May 25)
  • 4th of July
  • Fall Day (Oct. 21)
  • Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 25 -29)
  • Winter Break (Dec 12 - Jan 6, 2020)

What Can I Expect?

Our campus visits usually begin at 9:30 a.m. One of our York College admissions counselors will be your personal guide for the day, and your schedule will be customized to include the items you care about most. Visits range from just a few hours to a full day. Those planning on trying out for a sport should plan on a full day. When you set up your visit, you can choose to include the following activities:
  • Tour Campus
  • Meet with Financial Aid
  • Attend Chapel
  • Enjoy a Meal in the Cafeteria
  • Meet with a Faculty Member
  • Talk with a Coach or Director
  • Tryout for a Sport
  • Audition for Choir
  • Observe a Class
  • See Campus Dorms/Apartments
