Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), collegiate business club, has been dedicated to inspiring and developing the next generation of leaders by preparing members for careers in business and business-related fields. PBL offers a breadth of activities that build personal and professional skills, including unique career development programs, business tours, workshops, and so much more.
Do you want to build a portfolio of documented accomplishments before you enter the job market? Activities in PBL can complement your academic experience and give you an edge in your future career. During a job interview, you can point to the leadership positions you held for the largest collegiate business student organization in the world, the academic competitions you entered and how you fared against the very best students in the nation, and how with the career readiness and professional development you received you are ready to succeed in whatever you do.
If you are interested in developing your leadership, communication, and your professional skills then PBL is the right choice for you.
York College now offers scholarships for incoming freshmen who commit to participate in PBL in leadership capacities and competitive events. Contact Nick DiToro (email@example.com), Associate Professor and head of the E.A. Levitt School of Business, if you are interested in pursuing a PBL scholarship.
Collaboration with Local Businesses
PBL students frequently partner with local businesses for internships and other service-learning opportunities. Recent partnerships include the York Area Chamber of Commerce, City of York Parks and Recreation, and Hudl.
If you are a local businessperson interested in partnering with York College PBL, please contact Nick DiToro (firstname.lastname@example.org), Associate Professor and head of the E.A. Levitt School of Business, at (402)363-5660.
