Here's a list of things to-do and contacts for you as your student prepares for York University. If you need assistance, call your student's admissions counselor or the admissions office at 402-363-5627.
Financial Aid – If not yet done, complete your student's FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov. York's school code is 002567. A completed FAFSA is required before your student can receive any financial aid. Students will be notified by admissions when their aid is ready to be accepted in the financial aid portal. Need assistance? Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Student Accounts – Once your financial aid has been completed you will receive an email with a link to your student accounts documents. Select a payment plan and complete these forms by August 1st. Need assistance? Contact Barbara Thompson at email@example.com.
Housing and Dining
Enrollment Deposit and Housing: After your student pays their enrollment deposit, they will be able to complete their housing form. Then they will receive a packet including info about housing, dining, and more. For more information about housing contact the Director of Residence Life and Housing at (402) 363-5718. Please make sure your student has their YC student ID number handy when completing these forms. It can be found in their acceptance packet. Need assistance? Contact your admissions recruiter.

***If your student is an athlete on one of our fall sports teams (includes volleyball, soccer, and cross country), they will check in on August 9 at 10 a.m. in Mackey Center***
Registering for Classes – After your student has received an acceptance notice from admissions and paid the enrollment deposit, they can register classes. Contact your enrollment counselor at 402-363-5627 to make further arrangements.
