The York College Panthers ousted the Duer Bracket’s top seed St. Francis (Joliet, Ill.) in the first round of the NAIA Div. II Championships 87-79 on Thursday and nipped No. 5 Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) 78-77 in Friday’s second round. However, The Panthers exciting run in the tournament came to a hault Saturday night at the hands of No. 2 Indiana Weselyan in an 89-64 defeat. The Wildcats shot an impressive 58% from the floor to the Panthers' 40%. York's leading scorer for the year, Cameron Coleman, a 6-5 junior from Allen, Texas, had a season-ending injury in the first half of the contest.
