The annual sports management conference of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) will be held this year on the York College campus, August 7 and 8. The event will be a mix of informational sessions and social interaction for the expected 250 attendees from 13 KCAC member schools. Each school will bring representatives from their athletics departments including athletic directors, sports information directors, athletic trainers, coaches, faculty athletic representatives, and student athlete leaders.  

The event will begin with a golf scramble fundraiser for athletic scholarships at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, followed by a day of award presentations, receptions, training sessions and group meetings. Dr. Nathan Mellor, CEO of C3 Brands and President of Strata Leadership, will present a keynote address on character in athletics.

The KCAC is an affiliated conference of the National Association of intercollegiate Athletics with headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. Today the KCAC sponsors conference intercollegiate athletics in football, volleyball, men's cross country, women's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's indoor track and field, women's indoor track and field, men's outdoor track and field, women's outdoor track and field, baseball, softball, men's golf, women's tennis, and men's tennis.
