York University held its winter commencement ceremony on Thursday, December 11, celebrating the achievements of forty-six students who completed the requirements for graduation. Twenty-three of the graduates received their master’s degrees and twenty-three received their bachelor's degrees.
The commencement address was given by Jim Ulrich, CEO of York General. In his address, Ulrich detailed how he would not have gotten to where he is today without his relationship with God. He encouraged the graduates to also lean on God, quoting from Philippians 4:6-7— “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
