Life’s hold button was released and for the first time in a long while, the campus of York College was again abuzz with laughter, singing, and the wonderful smiles of hundreds… the sounds and joyful faces of Soul Quest! Over 500 campers and staff took part in this year’s camp with youth groups representing an estimated 15 states. This year’s theme “Upside Down” was taken from a passage in Acts 17:6 about early disciples who turned the world upside down. More than a dozen baptisms took place during the week.

Tim Lewis, who completed his 18th year as Soul Quest director, commented that the students were excited to be back at camp after not being able to be together last year. It was noticed by everyone that there was a lot more hugging than usual.
