Titus Robison (‘04) has been named vice president for finance and operations of York University effective August 1. He has worked alongside long-time VP Todd Sheldon (’81) during the past year to prepare for this senior leadership role.
“Titus brings a valuable and varied collection of experiences to this important position,” President Tim Westbrook said about Titus’ decision to join the work at York. He continued, “I am grateful for his servant-heart and the leadership qualities he has demonstrated since he started his work last summer. In light of the significant challenges facing Christian higher education, I am thankful to welcome Titus as a colleague in this important work.”
Robison brings a wide range of experience in the not-for-profit sector to his new role at YU. His experiences include work as a senior advancement officer at YU during the Beyond 125 Campaign when he coordinated all parts of a successful alumni campaign. The majority of his career has focused around planned giving and general fundraising including stints at Iowa State University, Boys Town, and Foster’s Home for Children. Along with his fundraising experience, Robison has served as chief executive officer and chief operations officer with various organizations.
As he takes on the mantle of chief financial officer for the university, Robison said, “This opportunity represents an exciting challenge, and I look forward to serving a place and a mission that I love in this capacity. Todd leaves a long-lasting legacy at York, and I am grateful for the year-long opportunity to work alongside him.”
Titus and his wife, Angela (Sobetski ‘04), have four children, Bella (18), Kaewyn (17), Evalee (13), and Serena (10).
