York College senior Ali Linstad will present a concert of classical favorites and
musical theatre standards at her senior recital Saturday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m.
in the campus Prayer Chapel.
The concert will feature modern selections as well as music of the Romantic period. Linstad will perform in four languages and numerous styles, with pieces by Mozart, Schumann, and Debussy, among others. Kay Magner will accompany her on the piano.
In her musical theatre set, Linstad will perform crowd-pleasing selections such as “I Hate Men” from Kiss Me Kate, and "On the Steps of the Palace," from Into the Woods.

Linstad has performed with the York College Concert Choir and Celebration Singers
for several years. She is a music education and vocal music performance major from
Menominee, Mich. She will graduate from York College in April of 2016 after completing
her student teaching in Utica this spring.
