Dr. Samuel A. Smith will be inaugurated Friday, Sept. 24, as the 21st president of
York College. The investiture ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. in the Campbell
Activity Center with a reception to follow on Kiplinger Avenue; both venues are located
on the York College campus. The night before the inauguration, a special prayer convocation
will be held in the York College Prayer Chapel at 8 p.m.
The inaugural ceremony will highlight the 132-year heritage of the College and its mission to transform lives through Christ-centered education, equipping students for lifelong service to God, family, and society.
