We have a number of things planned just for you, including an academic showcase, where you’ll meet professors; a number of arts and athletic events; and some fun activities to help you get connected to the campus culture at YC--including Songfest, the annual musical review featuring 1/4 of the student body! You can stay in the residence halls, eat in the cafeteria, attend classes and chapel, and see what the YC student experience is all about. You can also try out for some athletic teams and the choir while you're here. There's no cost to attend for high school students. Register online now to get started! ![]() York College has announced the finalists for its most prestigious academic financial award, the Presidential Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to one incoming freshman each year and recognizes academic achievement as well as high moral character. Finalists for this award are Brianna Eckerberg (Gering, Neb.), David Tupper (Ewa Beach, Hawaii), Elizabeth Ryan (Mountain Home, Idaho), Eva Maria Jones (Salem, Ore.), Jacob Kuhne (Mukwonago, Wis.), Joseph Wanninger (Berthoud, Colo.), Kellie Fredendall (Jefferson City, Mo.), and Kennedy Gray (Great Falls, Mont.). To be considered for this award, students must meet high academic standards as well as submit written essays and other application materials. Top candidates are invited to campus for interviews to determine the recipient of the President’s Scholar. All finalists will receive the Dean’s Scholarship.
