Cassandra Savage is the president of The Savage Group, LLC. She and her husband, Ken, own nine McDonald’s restaurants in the Kansas City area. Cassandra entered the system as a Registered Applicant and has been an entrepreneur, specifically a McDonald’s owner/operator since 2001. During her tenure with McDonald’s, she has established a reputation for service to both her fellow operators and community.
In addition to the various leadership roles held with McDonald’s, Cassandra is actively involved in several organizations within her church, community, and the Kansas City area. Cassandra has served on several boards. The most recent appointments are the York College Board of Directors and the Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. These appointments have provided the unique opportunity to articulate the impact that specific economic issues affect our communities and businesses. Prior to becoming a McDonald’s franchisee, Cassandra’s professional career consisted of experience in the areas of education, marketing and public relations. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois and received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She has held management positions in Education and with IBM, where she received numerous awards for outstanding performance and service. She and Ken have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. They are active members in the Overland Park Church of Christ. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, community service and golf. |
