Thanks to a leadership gift from former YC President Gary Bartholomew ’67 and his wife Gwen (Sims ’67) Bartholomew, as well as gifts from many alumni and friends, the Touchton Baseball Clubhouse is complete. Located across the street from Levitt Stadium, the Touchton Clubhouse provides office space, locker room and other needs for YC's highly successful baseball program.
The clubhouse honors Paul Touchton ’61, who started the baseball program at York College. Touchton played basketball as a student. He returned to coach baseball, basketball and soccer while at York College from 1964 to 1973. Touchton is a York College Lettermen’s Association Lifetime member and a longtime supporter of Panther athletics.
The Touchton Clubhouse was dedicated on Friday, October 21, during Homecoming. The nationally ranked York College Panthers took possession of the facility that fall as they prepared for the 2017 season.
