It housed three classrooms, a little bit of office space, and a mysterious room containing YC's archives. Now, except for the restroom walls, the entire LL has been gutted and is being reconstructed: By January, it will be filled with books, a few great spaces to study, and a computer lab. Weather and a few other delays meant the installation of the new front doors and additional concrete have been pushed back a bit. In the meantime, workers have been readying the former office space to take on its new role as entry. A few before and during shots: For several months, the print collection housed on Second Level has been out of order and virtually inaccessible as double-sided shelves have been pushed to the perimeter walls. Dr. Cox and Leo have begun the process of reconstructing this space for temporary use this fall. Barring weather issues, next Tuesday's big news should be a fabulous new front entry. Stay tuned!
