Nate Reiser currently serves York University as an Associate Professor of Bible and
Ministry. He has spent sixteen years working in Christian Camp Ministry, seven years
in Youth ministry, and eleven years in high school and college education.
Serving York University since 2026.
While Nate has a passion for Old Testament studies and the Hebrew language, his primary
objective is growing the kingdom of God. He desires for all to not simply know Christ,
but to fully dedicate their lives to him. His doctoral thesis centered on discipleship.
For his dissertation, he gathered a group of educators and leaders at Camp Neotez
in Desoto, MO to create a four-year curriculum that can be used by Christian Camps
across the country. This curriculum is designed for young people to not simply accept
Christ, but to become life-long, active followers of the Lord. The mission is "train
youth to walk WITH Christ."Nate's favorite biblical passage aligns with his thesis. It comes form Rom. 12:1-2;
Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your
bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act
of worship. Do not conform, any longer, to the pattern of this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's
will is - his good, pleasing, and perfect. will.
