Dr. Kretz is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Biology and Chair of the
Division of Science and Mathematics. These two positions allow him to live out two
passions of his. 1) Helping students grow academically and spiritually in a way that
they can have full and complete lives and careers. 2) Helping York University build
on over a century of transforming lives through a Christ-centered education.
He has been in the education and health care field for the last 9+ years. Furthermore,
he serves on the Academic Leadership Team of York University and the Nebraska Academy
of Science Policy Committee for the state of Nebraska.
At York University, Dr. Kretz teaches a blend of Biology Courses, including Nutrition,
Genetics, Microbiology, General Anatomy and Physiology.
