Spring High School Days is a showcase weekend, where prospective students and their parents have an opportunity to see what York College has to offer, such as athletic and arts events, as well as campus tours and classroom visits.
For high school students visiting campus, this is a great time to see the college from many angles:
The 37th annual Songfest production will be performed at the Campbell Activity Center all three nights during this big event. The high-energy musical revue starts at 7:00 pm, and the box office opens at 6:00 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door and from 11:30 to 1:00 in the Mackey Center the week of April 1.
Cost: Tickets are $12 for preferred seating and $10 for general admission.
Debit and credit cards will be accepted.
On Friday and Saturday we’ll have athletic tryouts for juniors and seniors who are interested in one of our varsity or junior varsity sports. Open tryouts will be held for track and cross-country, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Concert Choir auditions will take place on Saturday along with an opportunity to visit with our theatre director and cast. See the schedule for times and locations closer to the event.
Prospective students who wish to attend High School Days should register online. If you have any questions, please call (402) 363-5627 / 5629.
Saturday morning, parents and grandparents of current and prospective students are invited to attend a devotional at 9 a.m. in the Prayer Chapel. President Steve Eckman will be speaking at the devotional, which will be followed by a free brunch in the Miller Room on the second floor of the Mackey Center.
The brunch will include time to meet with senior administrators as well as win door prizes. Those who plan to attend should make reservations by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 402-363-5664.
