Full-time Minister - The St. Mary’s County Church of Christ in California, Maryland is searching for a full-time minister. This opportunity is available to applicants at any experience level. Expectations include: specific preacher training; college degree - preferred but not required; comfortable with classroom teaching; projects well from the pulpit with organized sermons that have an understandable point; a willingness to represent the congregation in the community. We will provide an acceptable salary, a generous relocation allowance, and family benefits.
Bordered by the Potomac on the west and the Chesapeake Bay on the east, St. Mary’s County is a scenic peninsula located just sixty minutes south of Washington, DC in a bustling area known as Southern Maryland. With an average attendance of about 165, our congregation is a family of highly diverse members representing various educational, work and racial backgrounds from all areas of the country. As the major local employer is the Patuxent Naval Air Station, many of our members are either active-duty or retired military. The congregation is active in its outreach to the community, and maintains benevolence programs that serve our members as well as the community. Our leadership is made up of three elders and five deacons, all strong in the faith and capable leaders. Our outgoing minister of 7 ½ years is leaving us by his own choice to preach at a well-known congregation in Tennessee.

Pulpit/Outreach Minister - The Northern Light Church of Christ in Brooklyn Park, northern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota seeks a full-time pulpit/outreach minister. The congregation has been in existence since 1961 (formerly known as Brooklyn Center Church of Christ) and currently has a membership of approximately 100. Our congregation is led by an eldership in place since 2011 and we also have several deacons and ministry team leaders. We are a very diverse congregation and have been blessed with a new building completed in 2007. We also house a K-2 charter school in our building. We desire to provide an open environment that encourages each person to use their individual talents and abilities to build up the body and glorify God. It is important that we provide encouragement, support, and involve every member in the life and growth of the congregation. Our goal is to seek and save the lost and help the Lord's congregation grow by fostering relationships with God through His Son and our Savior Jesus Christ.
