What’s New for 2013

The New Campbell Center – York College has a new student recreation facility called the Campbell Center.  It will be fully available during soul Quest week for recreation, group meetings, youth group meetings, and anything else that is needed.  The Campbell Center will be a great addition to camp.

Room Keys – This year, we are providing the opportunity for each camper to have a key to their room. This is optional and will require a $20 deposit. This is to be brought to camp and not sent in with registration money. When your camper checks into his/her room, they will have the chance to obtain a room key.

Age Specific Classes – Soul Quest campers love to attend our daily interactive classes. This year our classes will be designed more specifically for the unique situations, experiences, and maturity levels for both middle and high school age students.  The results of our efforts should mean new and improved classes for our campers.

York Aquatic Center – As a part of our free time activities this year, we have made arrangements with the York Aquatic Center to have some evening swim options. Each camper, that wants to swim, needs to bring a bathing suit, towel, shoes or sandals and cover up clothes for the optional activity.

Faster Cafeteria Lines – The food is always fantastic at Soul Quest! At SQ 2013, our campers will be able to enjoy meals in our newly remodeled cafeteria and the adjacent Larsen Commons area. We will have more serving lines for less waiting and more eating.

Pre-Worship Events – Before our evening worship begins, we are planning to have a few pre-worship performers to add to our evening’s program.  Once again this year, we will have unique offering to set the stage for evening worship.
