York-area elementary students are invited to attend the York College Cultural Geography Fair, Friday, December 4 at 9 a.m., on the second floor of the Mackey Center (corner of 8th Street and Delaware Ave).

College students will be presenting information on a variety of countries. Presentations may include food, games, music, activities, and other fun items on display.

"The geography fair is one of the highlights of our year," says Christi Lones, assistant professor of history, who is organizing the event. "The research and preparation by our students is an exciting process to watch."

"We would love to see a big turnout of kids from all of our area schools and learning environments. It's going to be a fun and educational time for kids."

There is no cost to attend. All are welcome to join in the fun!

Please RSVP to Lones by Tuesday, December 1 if you plan to attend. You can contact Lones at clones@york.edu or 402-363-5680. Please be sure to note the age group and how many students you will have in your group.
