With fanfare and heraldry, York College held a ceremony on December 14 to recognize the accomplishments of students who had completed the requirements for graduation after the fall semester. The inspiring ceremony was held in the Bartholomew Performing Arts Center and was attended by more than 100 students, faculty and staff, family members, and friends.

December graduates earning a bachelor’s degree included:  Cale Anderson, Weston Bich, Carlie Bonderer, Hannah Boucher, Kayliana Cox*, Katey Cox*, MacKenzie Eller**, Brandin Fry, April Gaedke*, Corey Holmes, Alberto Jaramillo, Courtney Johnson**, Austin Kupper, Jesse Poneoma, Molly Reyes, Connor Roseke, Benjamin Sinclair***, Ashley Spagnolo, Tyler Wilt, Kylie Wroot**, Renee Wubbenhorst, and Bang Yuot.

Graduates earning an associate’s degree included: Darreon Tolliver, Sarah Straub, and Cameron Sorter.

Graduates earning a master’s degree included: Daniel Mallette, Brianna Perez, Kenneth    Lantz, Delton    Deal, Nathan Anderson, Adam Brower, Elicia Davenport, Brenda Johnson, Jenna Melton, Nathan Meyer, and Deborah Nicholas.

The ceremony included a welcome from President Steve Eckman and a commencement address from Tim Carr ‘95, principal at Heartland Community School in Henderson, Nebraska.  A reception for graduates and their families followed the ceremony.

​York College will hold its spring commencement ceremony on May 5, 2018.
