Mr. & Ms. York College

York College held their annual All-College Banquet Thursday night at the Stone Creek Event Center in McCool Junction and presented the awards of Mr. and Ms. York College.  YC faculty and staff make the selection for this award using leadership, involvement, academic performance and personality as the criteria. Elicia Hebrink, senior Middle Grades Education major from Ozark, Missouri, and Heath Schmalzried, senior General Studies major from Castle Rock, Colorado, were honored with YC's highest award. 

Also awarded during the evening were Dr. Mark Pearson, Teacher of the Year, and Loretta Goben, Staff Member of the Year. Honored for years of service were Ron Shields (30 yrs), Dr. Clark Roush and Steddon Sikes (25 yrs), Philip Brutto, Jess Gaver, Ken Gunselman, and Patricia Jensen (10yrs), and Dr. Alfred Arth, Cara Kroeker, Dr. Mark Pearson, Roger Rine, and Dr. Alex Williams (5 yrs).
