York College’s Personal Attention to Students Recognized for Second Year in a Row

York College is included in the Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the Midwest Region and is once again listed among the five top baccalaureate schools in the Midwest for class size. With more than 80% of all classes having no more than 20 students, YC excels at providing students personal attention in a nurturing environment.

York is listed among the top 70 colleges for the Midwest region in the 2010-11 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” by U.S.News & World Report. YC President Dr. Steve Eckman commented that, “We are happy for the recognition of our small class size and the strong emphasis on interaction between faculty and students that this represents. I’m pleased that we have been once again recognized in such a high profile publication.”

The U.S.News & World Report rankings are designed to help consumers evaluate and compare data compiled about more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools.
