New Trustee Named

Dr. Mike Armour of Dallas, Texas recently accepted an appointment to the York College board of trustees. Armour is president and founder of Strategic Leadership Development International. His firm provides leadership consulting and coaching for entrepreneurs and top executives in some of America's largest corporations. Armour also serves as president of Eastern European Mission.

Prior to founding SLDI, the award-winning author was the senior minister at Skillman Church of Christ in Dallas, 1986-2001. Other past experiences include higher education and a career as a naval officer.

York College chairman of the board, H. Jarrell Gibbs, said, “We are delighted to have a man of Mike’s caliber serving on our board. His breadth of experience makes him a welcome addition as a trustee. He will be a great proponent for York College and Christian education in the North Central United States.”

Armour holds degrees from five colleges and universities, including a Ph.D. from UCLA.
