Dr. Ray Miller Honored at Symposium

Dr. L. Ray Miller II, Professor of Chemistry and Vice President for Academic Affairs at York College, was honored at a Symposium of Faith and Science at HardingUniversity in Searcy, Arkansas, October 25. Miller, along with fellow Harding alum Dr. Jeff McKinzie of Vanderbilt School of Medicine, were honored for their dedication in preparing students for medical school, research and global missions.

Miller is in his 25th year teaching at York College. He earned his Bachelors Degree at Harding University in 1973 and his Ph.D., from the University of Mississippi in 1982. His wife Gail is also a member of the Natural Sciences Department at York College, teaching biology.
