The success of this year's show was attributed in large part to the talented voices of six hosts and hostesses: Logan Bahler, Michal Dudrey, Patrick Good, Matthew Roush, Maegan Simpson, and Renee Willard. Under the direction of Dr. Clark Roush, they have been perfecting their performance since the campus-wide auditions in November. Each student chose the music for their own solo, showcasing a wide array of styles and genre to accompany the tight harmonies of their group numbers.
Over 25 percent of the York College student body participate in a Songfest production. Assistant Director Sue Roush said, "This is the only performance opportunity some of these students ever get. By writing and producing their own shows, the students also learn important leadership skills and form a very tight bond."
Next year's show is scheduled for April 2-4.
