The full tuition scholarship is York College’s most prestigious award recognizing the academic achievement as well as high moral character of the student. Finalists were invited to campus in April for a series of interviews with members of the Academic Council and an alumni panel. Caroline has a passion for people and has aspirations of doing mission work. One of her interviewers had this to say about her, “What a great personality! Caroline has a very positive outlook on life and will be a tremendous influence on the student body of York College.” After an application and interview process, three graduating seniors were also recently awarded the Dean’s Scholarship worth $8,500 per year. David Ohlin of Aurora, Nebraska, is a graduate of Aurora High School and will be a Pre-Veterinarian major. Logan Siddall of Bethalto, Illinois, attends Civic Memorial High School and plans to major in English. Sarah Strahle is from Anchorage, Alaska, a senior at A.J.
