Finding a PlaceAll for One, and One for AllClub Week provides one of the most defining moments of the academic year as the blend of new and old takes shape. The social scene of college life wouldn't be the same without social clubs, emphasizing the importance of which club to pledge and the bonding activities that follow. It's a time of comradery and silly fun mixed with the spiritual tones of fellowship and service. From the early morning flag football challenges to community service projects to devotionals with your brother-sister club, the week encompasses some of the best things about a campus family. Whatever is being done, it's being done together. Upperclassmen and new club members discover what makes each other tick and forge friendships that will carry throughout their college experience. Inter Club Council (ICC) President Elise Hart said, "It's designed to create unity...It's a week of intense togetherness, and it really helps create a [club] unit." Hart added that she always looks forward to his time of the year and while it's hard to put her finger on it, there's something very special about club week. "Everyone is always so excited, and there is so much energy on campus that week. Everyone really comes alive; It's just very exciting!"
As a finale to the week's festivities, Hart announced the clubs' sweethearts and beaus during Coronation on Friday night, each honored with a personal serenade. Club Sweethearts: Janae Wrich - AXE; Lea Childress - Kingsmen; Monica Gibson - Kyodai; and Elise Hart - Sigma Tau. Club Beaus: Daniel Good - Beta; Mason Lee - Delta; Jacob Harlow - Omega Phi; and Eric Heatwole - Theta Psi Club Week pics Coronation
