In Appreciation...

Honoring years of service and 2nd Miler Award

As the new academic year is underway, York College recognized years of service among employees at their annual appreciation banquet as well as honored one individual with the 2nd Miler Award for going above and beyond the call during the academic year.

Carol Rowedder, who has been at YC for 26 years, was presented with flowers and a commemorative plaque for the countless hours she has consistently given as the Director of Computer Services. After her name was announced by President Baker, Rowedder's peers joined in the celebration by giving her a standing ovation.
