Youth/Involvement Minister

 

The Walnut Hill Church of Christ in Dallas Texas is accepting applications to fill the position of a full-time Youth/Involvement Minister.  Walnut Hill is a diverse church of 200+ members in northwest Dallas. Our mission is to reach out to the unchurched of the metroplex area.  The candidate must have a ministry related degree from a recognized Christian University and/or a certificate of graduation from a Preacher Training School. The candidate will be involved in youth ministry, grades 7-12, as well as other aspects of ministry. He will be expected to plan service projects, camps and retreats, be involved in the Leadership Training for Christ program, Vacation Bible School, etc.   The candidate needs to have an evangelism plan for the youth to reach their friends. The involvement ministry would include learning and ministering in the many facets of the life of the congregation, i.e., small group ministry, and, on occasion, leading singing.
