Summer Resident Advisor

Boston Ballet

is looking for Resident Advisors

to support its Summer Dance Program (SDP)

As a Resident Advisor (RA) you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe residential environment for adolescents during our summer intensive ballet programs.  Summer Dance Program - Newton serves boys and girls ages 11-14 years old.  Our Boston site serves co-ed students ages 15-19. RA positions for either program will draw heavily on an individual’s skills and abilities as a mentor, a leader and a team player.

 

Dates of Employment

June 22 – August 3, 2008

Includes one week of training

Compensation:

Competitive pay

Room and Board provided

Event admission and travel included for all trips and enrichment activities

Requirements:

Must be at the very least 19 years of age

(21 years of age and older preferred for the Boston location)

Employment location (program housing) is at

Boston University (Boston, MA) or at Mount Ida College (Newton, MA).

  All positions - full time

*Experience as a Resident Advisor or Camp Counselor required

*Interest and/or experience in mentoring adolescents

*Energetic, caring, sensible character
