2008 LINCOLN SALTDOGS INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES
TICKETS
- Knowledge of E-Tix Ticket System – seat reservations, confirmations and availability
- Taking and verifying phone and walk-up orders
- Knowledge of Haymarket Park seating arrangements and locations
- Provide excellent customer service to all fans
MERCHANDISE STORE
- Knowledge of price, size and inventory availability of all items in merchandise store and storage
- Taking inventory before the game
- Stocking and re-stocking store with appropriate items
- Register, cash, check and credit card machine knowledge
- Running end of the night reports
- Able to handle mass crowds in small areas
- Provide excellent customer service to all merchants at all times
PROMOTIONS
- Knowledge of the Windstream Guest Relations counter
- Able to answer questions from all areas – concessions, stadium operations, tickets, merchandise and promotions
- Executing of all between inning promotions on the field and in-stands
- Able to handle the comments of a mass crowd while doing on-field promotions
- Set up of all promotions, contests and activities prior to game
- Knowledge of all activities happening each night
- Provide excellent customer service to all fans at all times
STADIUM OPERATIONS
- Set up and take down of all appropriate equipment for picnic area, field, concerts, etc. prior to and after each game
- Set up and take down of handicapped seating at Haymarket Park
- Working with the University event staff for any occurrences before, during or after each game
- Front Desk responsibilities – answering and transferring phone calls, directing customers to appropriate people, handling questions of walk-in traffic, etc.
- Operate and monitor outfield and concourse signage.
