2008 LINCOLN SALTDOGS INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

TICKETS

  • Knowledge of E-Tix Ticket System – seat reservations, confirmations and availability
  • Taking and verifying phone and walk-up orders
  • Knowledge of Haymarket Park seating arrangements and locations
  • Provide excellent customer service to all fans

MERCHANDISE STORE

  • Knowledge of price, size and inventory availability of all items in merchandise store and storage
  • Taking inventory before the game
  • Stocking and re-stocking store with appropriate items
  • Register, cash, check and credit card machine knowledge
  • Running end of the night reports
  • Able to handle mass crowds in small areas
  • Provide excellent customer service to all merchants at all times

PROMOTIONS

  • Knowledge of the Windstream Guest Relations counter
  • Able to answer questions from all areas – concessions, stadium operations, tickets, merchandise and promotions
  • Executing of all between inning promotions on the field and in-stands
  • Able to handle the comments of a mass crowd while doing on-field promotions
  • Set up of all promotions, contests and activities prior to game
  • Knowledge of all activities happening each night
  • Provide excellent customer service to all fans at all times

STADIUM OPERATIONS

  • Set up and take down of all appropriate equipment for picnic area, field, concerts, etc. prior to and after each game
  • Set up and take down of handicapped seating at Haymarket Park
  • Working with the University event staff for any occurrences before, during or after each game
  • Front Desk responsibilities – answering and transferring phone calls, directing customers to appropriate people, handling questions of walk-in traffic, etc.
  • Operate and monitor outfield and concourse signage.
