Social/Service Clubs

Student clubs and organizations are at the core of the campus life. For many years social service clubs have been a vital part of York College. The need for close, personal contact and for social interaction among students as well as between students and staff is fulfilled in the social service clubs. The purpose of social service clubs to provide students at YC an opportunity to meet together regularly during the school year to enjoy fellowship and to participate in wholesome group activities with one another and with staff members.

York College's social service clubs stimulate a closer bond of friendship among the students and enhance the loyalty to York College through service to York College and the surrounding community, Club Week activities, Homecoming festivities, club get-togethers and outings, intramural sports and Songfest.
