Dear New Students and Transfer Students,

We are looking forward to your arrival on campus in August!  Preparations are being made in the Campus Life Department to support you in your efforts as a student here at York College.  We are here to serve you in the areas of housing, chapel, campus ministry, student government, social/service clubs, career services and student life.

Your move-in day is August 19th! All freshmen must check-in at the Mackey Center and move into their rooms by 4pm that day.  After a busy day of moving in, please join us for an all-campus picnic at 5p.m. on Wednesday, August 19th.  Make sure everyone in your family plans to attend and meet the campus!  Orientation activities for all new students will begin Thursday at 8a.m.

Wednesday, August 19th
8a.m. – 4p.m.    Step 1 - Mackey Center Check-in (Confirm completion of Student File)
8a.m. – 4p.m.    Step 2 - Residence Hall Check-in (Get your keys and move-in)
4p.m.                President’s Reception for all parents, Mackey Center
5p.m.                Welcome picnic for freshmen and your family on the steps of McGehee Hall
6p.m.                Welcome Devotional, Prayer Chapel
8p.m.                Residence Hall meetings, required for all residents   

Thursday-Sunday, August 20th-23rd
Orientation, registration, and fun for new students                   

Monday, August 24th
Classes begin

All students must complete the Student Information Form online before August 19th.  This can be done by visiting https://sites.google.com/a/york.edu/studentinfo and completing the form provided.  You will not be issued your housing keys until you have completed this form.
