York Heads to Helena, MT for Postseason Tournament

Even though the YC women's soccer lost the opening round of the MCAC Tournament to Oklahoma Wesleyan 0-1 Friday afternoon, their season is not over. The team will be heading this week to Helena, MT for the MCAC/DAK/Frontier Unaffilitated NAIA tournament hosted by Carroll College. Based on the strength of schedule ratings, (known in soccer as LONGO) the Panthers qualified for the postseason tournament and will play Wednesday at noon (1:00 CST) against Rocky Mountain Christian College. Head coach Trent Hinton leads his team into postseason play for the second year in a row. Before the conference tournament's opening round, the Panthers won their last four games and ended the season as the number 2 seed in the MCAC.
