YC Cheer & Pom Squad

Panther Cheer is a scholarship program designed to support our school, community, and athletic teams.  YC cheerleaders will serve the athletic teams and encourage school enthusiasm. The members of the cheer program will be held to a high level of character and student conduct befitting our mission to transform lives for Christ.

Criteria
Good standing with Campus Life
Minimum 2.0 GPA
Chosen through formal try-outs

Responsibilities
1 year time commitment: practice, performances, recruiting, service projects, etc.
Recruiting events for admissions
Abide by rules set by the student handbook and sponsor.

NOTE: Clinics for the 2013-2014 school year will be held at the first of the school year, followed by try-outs. The Pom routine and try-out cheers will be taught at the clinics.
