Web Page Sponsorships

This summer and fall York College will conduct the 5th Annual athletic department web page sponsorship drive.  Each athlete will have the opportunity to be personally sponsored by his or her “home town” folks and at the same time York College can offer World-Wide marketing for the “home town” sponsor.

How will it work?  Beginning in mid September, when anyone logs on to the YC Athletic Department website there will be a link to a list of all web page sponsors.  Also one can ‘click’ the roster of a given sport and scroll to the athlete’s name on the roster.  When you ‘click’ on the athlete’s name you will be taken to the web page sponsor page.  If the “home town” sponsor has an existing website, and the sponsor so desires, we will create a “hyper-link” connection between your student/athlete’s sponsored page and the sponsor’s website, thus creating another customer opportunity for the sponsor’s business.  This information will remain on-line until June 30, 2008. 

If friends or family would like to sponsor individual athletes, not through a business, we can customize your section to say something like, “Good Luck”, “With Love”, or anything you wish to encourage the Panthers!  Or you can also check out the Athletic Booster Club.
