PROGRAM AREAS
  • Psychology

The Psychology program at York College employs faculty members who are trained in psychology and bring spiritual perspectives to modern concerns. All of our faculty members are licensed as mental health practitioners and are certified in social work, professional counselling, and marriage and family therapy. This results in our faculty being teacher-practitioners who possess the ability to bridge the gap between the theoretical and the practical.

Our low student-faculty ratio promotes mentoring and professional development. Those completing a Bachelors of Science in Psychology have been accepted into graduate programs across the nation and have begun professional careers in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, nutrition, marriage and family therapy, community counseling, vocational rehabilitation, education, the military, and business ownership.
