Fine/Performing Arts

The Fine and Performing Arts division of York College is dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential in the arts and offer a supportive learning environment with high professional standards, small classes, and hands-on practical experience.

The division is comprised of the art, communication, and music departments.  It features the Bachelor’s of Arts degree in communication (tracks in business communication, speech communication, or theatre), and the Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Music Performance. The division cooperates with the Division of Education to offer the Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Education (K-12), and Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Drama Education and an endorsement in Elementary Art Education.  Minors are offered in communication and music.
