Send Me No Flowers
YC Fall Theatre Opens October 13th
York College Theatre is presenting the light hearted and laugh-filled play Send Me No Flowers, October 13-16, 2011. The story is of hypochondriac George Kimball trying to find a new husband for his beloved wife Judy after mistakenly believing that he will soon die. The results are hilarious. Most people remember Send Me No Flowers as a popular mid-sixties film that starred Rock Hudson and Doris Day. The show has aged well and it still remains a very good romantic comedy for all to enjoy.
The production will run October 13-16 in Gurganus Hall (10th & Kiplinger), with showings on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are $6 adults/$4 seniors & students. Reservations can be made by calling the York College Box Office at 402-363-5641 or by email.
