The York College Celebration Singers will perform their annual Cocoa and Carols program December 12 through 15. The theme of this year's show is "The Best Time of the Year: Music and Memories of Christmas."
Performances of the high energy show will be held in Gurganus Hall on the York College campus. Admission is $5 and includes cocoa and cookies.
Performances on December 12, 13 and 14 will be at 7:30 p.m. with the house opening at 7:00. On Sunday, December 15, the performance will be at 2 p.m. and the house will open at 1:30.
Program director Amy Fraser, assistant professor of music, encourages would-be attendees to reserve a ticket early, as the seating is limited. There are only 100 seats available per performance. Fraser notes that all performances usually sell-out.
Fraser says that the show will incorporate a wide variety of musical styles, from hymns to pop numbers and is sure to please audience members of all stripes.
