Preaching Minister - The West Erwin Church of Christ in Tyler, Texas is accepting applications for the preaching minister position. This church has been in existence for 129 years, established in 1885. We are located in the heart of downtown Tyler, the “Rose Capitol of the World.” Located in heart of East Texas, Tyler has a population of about 100,000 people, while drawing in people from outlying towns for employment as well as for our church family.
West Erwin averages about 450 in Sunday morning worship assembly. We are a financially stable church, and have modern facilities, relevant to our ministries, that we utilize as a home base for reaching out. We are a church that is focused on missions, both foreign and domestic. Our benevolence ministry utilizes a lot of our membership and makes up a substantial portion of our footprint in the downtown area.
We are a church family that looks to avoid extremes, led by the scriptures. We are a church made up of a variety of ages, with a group of active young families all the way through our Young at Heart group. We currently have a full-time ministry team of three (Family Life, Youth, Benevolence) that the preaching minister would work with in unison, helping set goals and being a resource for our church.
Some of the expectations for our preaching minister include:
· Serve as preacher for Worship Assemblies
· Work within Ministry Team
· Active in Pastoral Care
· Involved in the life of the church
Please direct resumes or questions about the opening to email@example.com or you can send them via regular postage mail to one of our shepherds here at West Erwin:

Pulpit Minister - Central Church of Christ is a non-denominational community of believers in Kirksville, Missouri that is Bible and prayer oriented, believing God’s promises to be true and real and that God is active, loving and present in our lives. We are a small congregation with current attendance at Sunday morning worship between 35 and 45. We expect the person would have a strong foundational knowledge of the Scriptures achieved through personal study and formal education and have a knowledge and appreciation of independent churches of Christ.
